Ethic or Aesthetic?
I explore whether New Brutalism should be understood as an aesthetic or an ethic. I think it goes beyond the use of raw concrete: it is about material honesty, structural clarity, and the direct expression of how buildings are made. I believe architecture gains its power when nothing is disguised, allowing materials and structure to speak for themselves.
