Mària Canel is an architect and project leader at Lagula Arquitectes, with extensive experience in architecture, public space and museography.

She has collaborated with several architectural firms in Barcelona, contributing to projects ranging from urban development and public space design to competitions and architectural design across all phases. She has been involved in both new-build and rehabilitation projects for public buildings and housing, along with extensive experience in museography and construction site management.

Since 2016, she has been part of Lagula Arquitectes, where she leads both public and private architectural projects.

She graduated in Architecture from the University of La Coruña, with a specialisation in Technology. Her work is defined by strong coordination skills, precision, and contextual sensitivity, always aiming to integrate functionality and identity into the built environment.
